Applications for Student Council positions for 2023-24 are due Monday, April 3. See below for more details:

  • President: Open to High school students: You are the leader of the pack, the head honcho, you have responsibility to your fellow students and admin. You must be open and accepting of ideas and have a good work ethic. You should be present at all student council organized activities. This position includes attending the PSSC committee meetings as the student representative. This looks great on a resume btw.
  • Vice-President: Open to High school students: You are second in command. You must take the lead when your President is unavailable. You work in tandem with your school representatives and the SC President and admin advisors. You should be available for all Student Council sponsored activities.
  • Information/Communication Officer: Grade 6 to 12 students One student position– Duties: Inform teachers and students from K-12 about upcoming activities. Publicity, posters. Think of yourself as the media of Saint Mary’s!
  • Three Student representatives: one from Middle (Grade 6-8), High School Grade 9-10 and High School Grade 11-12. The student representative is responsible for voicing the wants and needs of their group of peers. You are their voice so be visible in a meeting and have your finger on the pulse of what your electorate need and want. Be active.
