The weather is getting nicer and the days are so much longer and we all know what that means. ASPARAGUS!!!!! Here’s the latest treat from our outdoor gardens ๐Ÿ™‚

Ben is skeptical of the perfect green stalks and all the vitamins they carry. Personally, so were we but with how well our plants are doing. What a great spring harvest! Eat your veggies. These lovely tender shoots are packed full of nutrients and a great addition to any diet. Some health benefits include lower blood pressure, weight loss and improved digestion! Low in calories and high in fiber it’s a powerful little green addition. Try it in soups and stir- fry’s or roasted with garlic and olive oil in the oven.
